The Vectoization Process
- Software Selection: The process starts in vector graphic software. Like: Coral Draw, Indscape etc.
- Design Creation: A vector file of the desired object is created using lines, curves, and shapes. The design is built with scalable vectors, meaning it can be resized without losing quality.
- Outline Focus: For laser cutting, the design primarily consists of outlines. The laser follows these paths to cut the material.
- Export for Laser Cutter: The completed vector file is then exported in a format compatible with the laser cutter's software (e.g., .SVG, .DXF, .AI).
- Material Preparation : This step involves placing the acrylic sheet onto the laser cutting bed.
- Laser Cutting : The laser cutter then uses the vector paths to precisely cut the acrylic according to the design.
